CHOCOLATE-BANANA BREAD

 


Ingredients

1 cup granulated sugar

2 cups bread flour

1 teaspoon baking powder and baking soda

1 unsalted butter stick

2-3 ripe bananas

2 eggs mixed

1 tablespoon milk and 1 teaspoon powdered cinnamon mixed

Vanilla essence

Chocolate chips or crushed chocolate cookies

 

Directions

1.     Preheat the oven to 160 degrees C. 

2.     Mix the powdered sugar and butter in a bowl to make it light and fluffy (remember not to overdo it, until you can make a mountain of cream). Add the eggs and beating well. 

3.   Mix in the milk-cinnamon preparation with mashed banana in a separate bowl. In another bowl, mix the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda). 

4.     Add the banana mixture to the cream and stir well. Now add the dry ingredients and Vanilla essence. Mix well to avoid any unmixed dry flour or  air bubbles.

5.     Pour batter into a buttered rectangular pan and sprinkle the chocolate. Bake for 45 minutes. Once the bread is cooled at room temperature cut them and serve.

Rectangular pans make long bread that is easy to make and cut.
